TV Gets A Little Greener

Even the boob-tube is getting a little greener these days. Discovery recently introduced the nation’s first “all-green” TV network, which highlights greener tips for an eco-friendly lifestyle. Much like Discovery’s array of other networks, Planet Green caters to a growing niche that’s full of everyone from soccer moms to scientists eager to stay in the know on what is without a doubt the most popular color of our time.

Its shows are brimming with alternative lifestyle tips including how to throw a green barbeque, ways to shop for organic clothing, and spotlights on new products designed to make living green easier than ever before.

Alongside painting TV’s across America green, Discovery has also been hard at work painting the web. Planet Green’s website features a host of articles designed to supplement the network’s programming with topics on everything from tech news to home and garden and beyond. The network’s recent adoption of TreeHugger further adds to their greenery with extensive archives on the progression of the green movement over the last several years.
